little bacon
little bacon's Etsy shop is the sweetest.
Based in France, this clothing shop is filled with feminine pieces touched with a bohemian flair.
My favorite piece is the patterned "jupe" mini featured above. Paired with suede booties and a light sweater, this makes me excited to break out my fall clothes.
Other favorites include these saucy "culotte" shorts that look straight off the set of "Boardwalk Empire,"
and these floaty silk tops,

{me}longings studio pillows
Setting up house can be feel like a daunting experience. Deciding where to hang a favorite mirror takes back seat to locating those day to day necessities like shampoo and work clothes.
Slowly but surely we've begun to chip away at the seemingly endless task of getting settled. We ordered a new white sofa, but are still in the market for the perfect throw pillows. After all, aren't the details the best part?
{me}longings studio's "organic modern textiles" are printed by hand and oh so lovely.
Here are a few of our favorites of their designs (above and below) that are more than welcome to come and live at our house.

splash dyed
Etsy shop twostringjane has a darling collection of knits and tees.
Perhaps it's the Bonnaroo fever currently pulsing through Nashville, but I can't help but think these colorful splashed cottons would make an ideal get up for a festival weekend.
I know one little hippie near and dear to my heart who would almost certainly agree. Definite birthday gift contender, Beastly. You have been warned.
Etsy shop here.

friday
Happy Friday, friends! Flowers are blooming and my allergies are barking, but the weekend is nearly upon us so who can complain?
It's a dreary, rainy afternoon here in Nash so here are a few cheerful links to brighten the last few hours before the weekend officially begins.

etsy finds: ArcOfaDiver
Digging ArcOfaDiver's interesting bag collection after coming across their Etsy shop.
I've got my eye set on the Tico striped school satchel (bottom right above) from their Coastal Collection. This looks like an ideal option for a new work bag. I just got a brand new company MacBook that I'm terrified of accidentally destroying.
I also wouldn't turn the cross body Seafarer Bag (in solid or stripe)....
or these gold accented Wallet/Clutch designs.

"bird brain" print
Digging on this whimsical "bird brain" print from Meghan Ellie's Etsy shop. I find the combination of an old fashioned silhouette and photography bizarrely calming. It feels like a daydream.
If you like it too, it could be yours for $25. Head here to purchase.

etsy finds for the home
As we navigate our first home buying experience, I've had nothing but nesting on the brain.
Here are three pretty offerings from Etsy that make excited about settling into our new space in the next few months.
These porcelain egg planters ($17; available here) would add a nice pop of springtime to the mantel.

This super feminine cafe apron makes me want to whip up a tasty brunch ($32, available here).

inkkit stationery and supplies
Swooning over inkkit's Etsy shop. Filled with interesting stationary supplies and cool wrapping and packaging options. How gorgeous are those rustic wooden pencils?
Reverting to elementary school-aged joy (picture getting a new Lisa Frank folder and matching pencil set, but better) over these glittery triangle stickers and that striped tape.
I'm not a crafty gal, but these pics have me daydreaming about festive ways to wrap presents.
I know, I know. Let's get through the turkey first.

watercolor prints
These watercolor prints from Amber Alexander's Etsy shop are my current jam.
Her soft and whimsical creations are invited to take up residence on a blank wall in our bedroom anytime. At only $20 a pop, they are quite the steal.
Isn't the subdued palette serene? Just lovely...

natful
Somehow the last days of summer are upon us. In spite of our fears about the infamous August heat waves here in Nashville, the past few mornings have been almost autumnal.
Still, with a only few more weeks until Labor Day, may I share with you the easy, breezy, beautiful indie label natful by Nataly Elian. Based in Tel Aviv, this label's Etsy shop embodies everything I love about simple and effortless summer style.
Take a gander here. Doesn't this line have a total Jemima Kirke vibe?
The shop is rocking a pretty killer sale which comes in handy for those of us really looking to make those last few weeks of summer count.

it's monday, but...
After a wonderful, sunny weekend, here we are back to the grind. Maybe I should order the banner above from Etsy to hang in my office. It's a nice message to keep in mind.
Daydreaming about the awesomeness of the last few days also helps. On that note, here are a few happy snaps from the weekend.
Trees in bloom!
Brunch with friends (and their adorable new addition) in Tribeca...
where S ordered weiner schnitzel!
Next, came a ferry ride across the East River
to Greenpoint
for a splash of rosé, a dinner party and a killer game of Win, Lose or Draw.

foldover clutches
Clutches are great. Aren't they oh-so-chic and feminine. The problem? Where do you put all your stuff?During the day, I haul around a bag big enough for most people would consider it luggage for a weekend getaway. Still, when it's time to get dolled up for drinks with friends or a date night, I love the idea of simplifying your handbag and embracing the festive nature of a big night out.
The solution? The foldover clutch! Beautiful and handheld, but big enough to hold more than a credit card, a key and your lipstick.
Obsessed with Gift Shop Brooklyn's offerings. Their pretty designs in mostly pastel palettes are calling my name. Visit their Etsy shop here.

Loving this warm and friendly floral watercolor. The palette is just my style.Even though it's frigid here in NYC, it helps me to remember that Spring is only 60 days away.
Hang in there, friends.

cafe apron
Small Batch Productions is a groovy little Etsy shop that creates and sells aprons, tea towels and other sweet kitchen linens.
Obsessed with ordering one of these too cute cafe aprons.

The aubergine windowpane option above must be mine.
Don't they make you want to mosey into the kitchen and whip up something tasty?

casual rain jacket
The humid, rainy weather of the past few days has me craving a rain jacket that's versatile but effective. Having said that, I would also like this jacket to be attractive. Is this too much to ask?
I was beginning to think I should just accept defeat and pull out my old North Face from the college years when I spotted this gem on Etsy.
I was beginning to think I should just accept defeat and pull out my old North Face from the college years when I spotted this gem on Etsy.

Affordably priced with a trendy, feminine shape, this jacket seems a worthy investment while temps are still warm. Important note? "FM 908" only appears on the photo and not the jacket.I love that this jacket also comes with a removable hood. Ideally, the hood would save your hair from those windy rainstorm gusts that make an umbrella feel useless.
