Lauren Moffatt

Lauren Moffat's Fall 2010 collection is really rocking. Her structured yet feminine silhouettes are right up my alley. Her choice of print, pattern and fabric are divine.

Check out these beautiful dresses.

Bodacious Boy Bands

At some point in every girl's middle school life she (admittedly or not) liked a boy band. It's a humiliating truth, but never fear girls...we've all been there. For example, I dug The New Kids while my little sis was a Backstreet Boys kind of girl.

Boy bands are cleverly marketed toward youngsters who have no idea what they might be looking for in a boyfriend (other than a high pitched voice, a ride to school in a limo and sweet dance moves, naturally). After stumbling across BuzzFeed's "45 Ridiculous Pictures of Boy Bands" photo collection, I must say, gross.

Since these pics are far too funny not to share... enjoy! Also, be sure to check out the site's fab photo commentary.

Funky Fresh

Fresh products are wonderful...so wonderful that when someone passes by their store (located dangerously close to our apartment) they might walk quickly, cross the street or even close their eyes to avoid temptations from the brand such as their refreshing Soy Face Cleanser
or wonderfully decadent Brown Sugar Body Polish.

Now, you can get your Fresh fix with their perfect-for-your-purse sized rollerball scents. These guiltless travel size versions of the company's larger perfumes provide a great pick-me-up throughout the day. Also, how cute are the little canisters they come packaged in?

Fresh's crisp, sparkling Citron de Vigne scent is one of my favs. It was inspired by Reims, France's Champagne region. It certainly beats dabbing a little bubbly behind the ear.

The Marais Chair

This kitchen is gorgeous, but one of its best features has to be the nifty set of Marais chairs.

The sleek, metallic style of these bistro chairs paired with a shabby chic wood table or floor is quite delicious. Plus, their simple design is ideal for smaller spaces (note to self).

One of these chairs would be gorgeous in an entry way or even a bedroom.

While the brighter varieties are really fun,

I'm a sucker for the more neutral, unpainted variety.

Still not convinced that these chairs are styling? Tell that to Anna Wintour who perches on one behind the editor's desk at Vogue. Oh la la!

"Every second matters..."

I love the commercial below. It's all about how one seemingly insignificant moment in your day can shape the rest of your life. Cheesy? Maybe...but I like it, and that says a lot since the commercial advertises AT&T (my nemesis). No, seriously. How can they drop your call in the center of Manhattan 4 times in 15 minutes?! Blurg.

The ballet dancer in this commercial is also super pretty and her autumn style is great. As we say goodbye to summer (where did it go?!), at least it's time to think about crisp fall mornings,

Fresh specs

For the past few months, I've accepted that my super nerdy glasses (not in a hipster way, circa 2003) have got to go.

While searching for a replacement that I would actually wear in public, I've been consistently depressed by the fact that every pair I'm drawn to inevitably turns out to be from a designer label. They are also all $300 (before adding your prescription)!

For example, I've been lusting after these dark blue-green frames from Paul Smith since this time last year.

This Chanel pair is lovely...and way too pricey for me!

Just when I'd given up hope of ever wearing eyeglasses in public again, I stumbled across Warby Parker.

This online retailer prides itself on selling boutique-quality glasses for an affordable price. No pair is more than $100. All frames also have adorable names...

I'll take the Miles, please.
