embroidered bracelets
Love these embroidered linen bracelets by New House Project. They remind me of a favorite blanket my parents keep from a trip to Mexico.
I love the way these looked stacked...especially when combined with that delicate copper bangle.
Want these bracelets to be yours? Visit their Etsy shop, and make your dreams come true.

The Silly Goose
We hit up The Silly Goose in East Nashville for a lovely little lunch this weekend.
Located off Eastland (next to Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream), this sweet spot's menu revolves around organic, locally sourced ingredients. They even grow tomatoes out front!
Their lunch menu is a casual selection of salads, sandwiches and a surprising variety of couscous.
Here are a few snaps from our meal.
red bandana napkins/clipboard menus
basil lemonande in antique jars
special chilled watermelon salad with goat cheese, almond, mint and balsamic
the "Bird"-grilled chicken breast, sundried tomato, avocado, bacon and peppered goat cheese grilled (is there such a thing as too much?) on whole grain bread
Bobo's couscous with grilled chicken
the dining room
We are pumped about trying out Silly Goose's dinner menu which gets a bit more fancy with a variety of serious entrees like steak, snapper and a saucy little desert named the Reverse Cowgirl.
Check out the full menu here.

chilling out
After months weekend jaunts here and there, starting a new job, unpacking boxes and moving across the country, I am looking quite forward to a pretty chill weekend.
Here's a song to set the mood. This tune has become a recent favorite ever since hearing it playing over the closing credits of the HBO series Girls. Lena Dunham is hilarious. Alas, I digress. Enjoy the song and the weekend!

stacked sapphire ring
How beautiful is this Stacked Sapphire Ring by Mociun? The unusual shape is so original. Just gorgeous...
If your bank account can take it (eeps!), head here to purchase. I plan to ogle from the safe distance of my post here.

sea salt soap
As of late, I've become weirdly obsessed with Swedish Dream's Sea Salt Soap. While I'm always a sucker for good design, there's actually much more to this adorable little disk than meets the eye.
Adorably gifted (I hope this was not some sort of hint?) by my charming husband, the fragrance is fresh, clean and great for both guys and girls.
Good to know? After your first use, the sea salt crystals in the soap are exposed. The salt results in a gentle exfoliation...which I rather enjoy.
S picked up our bars from the ever awesome imogene + willie here in Nashville, but they are also available here. I can certainly think of a worse way to spend six bucks....
Ahoy! And rub-a-dub-dub.
P.S. These bars are supposed to be great for shaving, fellas.

perfect summer sweater
There are so many wonderful things about our new home that I can hardly wait to share, but alas, that is not one of those posts.
For now, I will simply say our current proximity to Target has me giddy. For example, where else could one score a giant can of raw almonds, a new shoe rack and THE perfect summer sweater for only $16.99? Exactly, my friends. Exactly.
See below for the sweater in question.
I may or may not have purchased all three. Buy yours here.
