Everyone agrees. Jonathan Adler is the best. Remember these coasters and these fruity pillows?

I've been scouting out his kooky collection of needlepoint pillows for the past few months, and I'm really hoping that Santa brings us one for Christmas.

Top choice? "The Tramp," of course.

Fruity pillows

I really love these fruit pillows from Jonathan Adler's Junior collection. I know they hail from the children's line, but I want to pop them on my grown-up sofa this very instant. They're sleek and playful at the same time.

The lemon version is my absolute favorite. Here's the front:

Okay, these bust vases (spotted on oh joy!) are fab. They are so cute and quirky I can hardly stand it!

They would make a really funny wedding gift or a thoughtful treat for a host.

Together this duo is vageuly reminiscent of Jonathan Adler's Mr. and Mrs. salt and pepper shakers.

The only down side is that when these guys are empty (aka missing foliage or fresh cut flowers) they make me feel sad. It sort of looks like they've been lobotomized...

jet set coasters

Happy Monday, everyone! Also, here's to August? Not sure how it arrived already, but I'm feeling the need to soak up every bit of summer that remains.

For example, I'd love to "jet off" to one of these destinations!


Obviously, these oversized coasters (scored on this weekend's getaway) will protect coffee tables, night stands and beyond, but I'm also a huge fan of discovering alternate uses for housewares such as these.


Wouldn't these make nifty little mini saucers for a dinner party? They'd be the perfect holders for olives pits or even tooth picks.
