Our once quiet, quaint neighborhood has been turned upside down over the past few months as the 2nd Avenue subway construction continues to barrel down the street.
In addition to the occassional blasting noises, the construction brings with it traffic and unsightly cranes. It's even forced some of our favorite restaurants to vacate the neighborhood.
Is the new line (slated to open in 2017-did I mention they've been building it for 75 years?) really worth all this?
One smooth voiced construction worker feels the residents' pain and has decided to spend his lunch break spreading the love to the often grumpy UES.
