Irish Cereal Milk

My always chic homeslice AK suggested we stop by Abe & Arthur's in Meatpacking last week for a very interesting cocktail.

What was this mysterious concoction? The Irish Cereal Milk!

I know, I know. It looks very suspicious...but it's amazingly delicious.

Here's the skinny (NOT!) on making your own version at home. The only thing missing? Your favorite Saturday morning cartoons.

Irish Cereal Milk (recipe via People)

(From Abe and Arthur's, N.Y.C.)

• ½ cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
• ¼ cup whole milk
• 2 oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey
• 1 tbsp. simple syrup

Soak cereal in milk for 30 minutes. Strain and discard cereal. Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add whiskey, simple syrup and strained milk. Add fresh Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces.
